How to Cancel a Pending Payment in Backpack
You can cancel a pending payment directly from the Dashboard or the Transactions tab in your Backpack app.
From the Dashboard
Find the payment listed under “Pending Tuition Payments”.
If the payment is still pending, you’ll see a “(Cancel)” button next to the status.
Click Cancel to open a confirmation window.
Select your reason for canceling:
Confirm your cancellation by clicking “Cancel Payment.”
You’ll see a confirmation message once the payment is canceled.
From the Transactions Tab
You can also cancel from the Transactions tab by clicking Cancel next to the status and following the same steps above.
After cancellation, the payment status will update to Canceled, and you’ll see it reflected in your transactions list.
